Paris Hilton and North Atlantic Books. These words have rarely, if ever, appeared in the same sentence before. And frankly, we’re a little surprised that Paris has been spotted carrying around a copy of Gary Null’s Living in the Moment: A Prescription for the Soul. We didn’t think it was really her type of book. It doesn’t even match her outfit.
But on second consideration, people who already lead lives of balance and bliss wouldn’t need to read Living in the Moment, and many of the book’s principles (a humane, ethical life means respect for others, slow down and reconnect with relationships) seem like they could be relevant to Paris Hilton.
We at North Atlantic Books would be last to discourage anyone from trying to make a positive difference in her own life, so we’ll wish Paris the best with her self-improvement program and hope that she, too, finds her bliss.
